Team 36 has developed a variety of resources to help teachers prepare their students to succeed on the ACT. Our teaching resources focus on the needs of students who score on or below the Mississippi average for the ACT, but can be easily scaled to meet the need of all learners.
In addition to our study guide and video series, we have developed a series of lesson plans, handouts and PPT’s for teachers to use in their classrooms to help their students succeed on the ACT. Our lesson plans are 50 minutes in length and designed to walk students through the process of preparing for the ACT. The topics covered include an introduction to the ACT, basic test-taking strategies, how to take and interpret diagnostic tests as well as specific tips and techniques for each section of the ACT.
We make these freely available because we believe that every student in Mississippi should be prepared to succeed in college and beyond. If you are a teacher in Mississippi, please email us from your school email account and we will provide you with the password to access our series of lesson plans.
