Our introductory course develops the ability of students to analyze, think, and plan. Meeting weekly for two months, our Team 36 Leaders assist students to understand the underlying structure of the test and develop test-taking strategies. Students learn what it will take to succeed on the ACT and complete a plan to achieve that goal.
After finishing the introductory course, students are invited back to implement their study plans together, forming Team 36. We show them the power of peer-to-peer mentoring, a fast and efficient way in which to master material. Students not only improve their scores, but also develop an important skill that they can apply later to their university studies.
